Biography
Jessie is a former ballerina and gymnast who graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in environmental management and a minor in Spanish. She began coaching gymnastics in Wilmette, Illinois after graduation and spent one year living in Spain while working as an English language assistant. She continued coaching gymnastics after moving to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where she worked as a head coach and dance instructor. While living in Steamboat Springs, she received her EMT certification and began working at a private ambulance company after moving to Denver. She also worked at the University of Colorado Hospital in the emergency department while taking prerequisites to apply to school to be a physician assistant.
Jessie was accepted to Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois and graduated with her master's degree in physician assistant studies in August 2023. She began working at IBJI in January 2024 in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery with Dr. Roger Chams.
