I went to Dr. Chams for a workers comp. traumatic shoulder injury (tore basically everything) that was very unexpected. Since this was workers comp. I will be honest that I got to pick almost any doctor I wanted (obviously within reason too). As an ICU nurse in the Chicagoland area, I know of/know a lot of doctors and Dr. Chams was easily the first to come to mind. His team got me an appointment so quickly and he knew the exact steps to take to make my surgical outcome very successful. He even gave a flash drive of the surgery to watch after because he is truly that great of a surgeon! The way I live my life, I do somehow see needing an ortho surgeon again in my future, and he will definitely be where I go back to even if I have to travel a little further to see him it, it would be worth it. You need a surgeon you can 100% trust and I 100% trust Dr. Chams! I can’t say enough great things about him and his team! Of course I can’t forget about his awesome PA’s and NP’s that also really were above and beyond any expectation I could have ever had! I thank them all for all their care and kindness through this traumatic injury.
